Viktor Aksiutchits was born August 29, 1949 into a peasant family in the village Vardantsy Molodechno Minsk region. In 1953, parents’ escape from collectivization and moved to Riga.’s Father worked as a longshoreman in the commercial port, and mother – caretaker. “I have lived, of course, in a house where it was not customary to read books where there is nobody and nothing was study.
