The principle of inviolability of state borders.

The principle of inviolability of frontiers, as set forth in the CSCE Final Act, applies only to European states, as well as the U.S. and Canada, while the principle of inviolability of state borders, as a principle of general international law, acts in all continents, regardless of whether there are special arrangements between individual states on the issue. In other words, it is not only contractual, but the customary norm of general international law. (more…)

Resolve the territorial dispute between Russia and Japan over four Kuril Islands / about. Kunashir about. Etorofu, Fr. Shikotan and Islands Habomai / poses to our country of particular importance in comparison with similar territorial disputes with other states.
