Assessing the current situation, we can say that there are a set of fundamental interests and factors (equally compelling to unite in a common education for all peoples of Russia), compared to which the present differences, contradictions and conflicts are secondary in time surely recede into the background. Russia – this is not some artificial conglomerate of territories of nations, nationalities, ethnicities, and a single indivisible body with a total for all of life – natural and social – space. Peoples and territories included in the composition of the Russian state at different stages of its formation, regardless of when and how it happened – either voluntarily or through coercion, through contractual or other acts for a long time are inseparable parts of a cultural, historical and politico-economic space.
Russia is really exceptional. It is immense, not only of geographical coverage, but also by the fact that absorbs a lot of people, ethnicities, cultures, traditions, beliefs, etc. The collapse of totalitarianism and the collapse of the Soviet Union wrongly seen as a prelude to the dismemberment of Russia or the cessation of Russian nationhood. Moreover, under certain conditions, the processes now taking place can be a starting level of state and spiritual revival of Russia, the restoration of a unified state of consciousness and at the same time a revival of national consciousness of many peoples inhabiting it. These two principles not only do not contradict each other, not only do not exclude, but rather presuppose each other.
